Brittish We Have Band has had a quite busy last two years with touring all over the world. The 5th of April their first full-length album WHB releases at Naive. Here are two great remixes. The first with 90′s dance floor pianos. The other one with a fresh smell of french disco. Enjoy.

Carte Blanche

”You gonna love the house”. Those words were the start of great thing thing between Dj Medhi and Riton as they decided to form the new super duo of the European house scene, Carte Blanche. Dj Medhi started of his international career when his album Lucky Boy was released on Ed Banger in 2006. Since then we’ve had the pleasure to enjoy fantastic dancefloor bombs like Signatune and Pocket Piano. His colleague Riton is a producer from the otherside of the canal, or more exactly from Newcastle. His is with the Radio Soulwax family and gained appreciation for his Modular project Eine Kleine Nact Musik back in 2008.
In the statement from Ed Banger they reveal that Carte Blanche will be touring all major cities in Europe and North America in May and June 2010 with four decks, one mixer and TR 909. Interesting? Oh Yes! The first EP from the duo is to be released in May.
And here’s their first track! The word is ”No Bangers, strictly house music”. And we like it, a lot! This is some great stuff going on.

Play Paul is the alias of french producer Paul De Homem-Christo (yeah he’s got a famous brother). Paul also got some blog attention for his project Ryskee together with Danish singer Leslie Ming. Play Paul samples old disco into beautiful french house tracks with a space feeling to them. 8 February his latest EP 9 AM was released on vinyl at Absolute Freak Records. The digital release will be in dropped mid-March. Pre-listen all tracks at Absolute Freak Records. It’s a great tune! Tonight at TAjT we give you the Disco Trash Remix of 9 AM and Play Paul’s own remix on his and Leslie Ming’s project Ryskee. Two great songs!

The 23rd March the Bloody Beetroots Death Crew 77 releases their genre bending anarchy promoting live show and record Domino. We give it to you in Sir Cornelius Rifos own words:
The name “DOMINO” comes from a typical Venetian Carnival costume, a robe with a black hood and a white mask. I have chosen this title to introduce the first BBDC77 anarco-musical army.
DOMINO (like Xmas Vendetta) underscores the contents of ROMBORAMA. DOMINO is part of ROMBORAMA… DOMINO is a spare of ROMBORAMA.DOMINO is music,cinema & photography.
DOMINO is also a revision of history. DOMINO destroys Nazi iconography to turn into Anarchy… pure ANARCHY.
I live in this world and I firmly believe in the autonomy and freedom of the individual.DOMINO will come out on 23rd March, anticipated by the short movie I have made for you.

Anja Schneider might be one of the most talented in the buisness. Not only is Anja head of a label but also DJ, producer and radio host. On her own label Mobilee Records she released the incredible EP iThought a week ago. The A-side contains the titel track iThought which together with B-side tracks Amore and iLook become a fantastic beautiful techno journey. The journey takes us thru heavy bass lines, beautiful vocals and almost dreamy melodies. Want to chill out out or dance the night away, you can do both!
