The Death Crew

Italian electro trash duo The Bloody Beetroots is back with their first material from the new project Death Crew 77. The release is a two track EP containing previously posted track Domino and 31 Seconds To Die. Both tracks has without doubt the Bloody Beetroots feeling to them but on the other hand it feels like something new. 31 Seconds To Die really suprised me with more electro pop tunes than trash. A firm pounding bass makes it really danceable and at the same time the string instruments makes it kind of meditative. Without doubt a new experience från the Beetroots.

Can’t shake this spring feeling

The sun is shining and the snow’s gone. And on top of that you listen to this absolutely briliant track by Grum. Damn it’s good. The track has been out for some time now in the blogosphere but was only released last week. In the release the original track comes with a bunch of great remixes, among them a club edit by Grum himself as well as remixes by Aston Shuffle, Ghosts of Venice and Beaumont.

This track along with the rest of the up-coming album from Grum, dropping on May 10th, will without doubt be played by me lots of times this spring and summer. Here’s the 128 version of Can’t Shake This Feeling. Go out in the sun and put it on. Just do it!

Florrie+Fred

= another lovely track. The collaboration between up-coming super star Florrie and house veteran Fred Falke continues. Their first track together, Call 911, went straight up the Hypem charts. The new track, called Panic Attack, makes it clear that Call 911 wasn’t an one hit wonder from Florrie and Fred. Listen to the 128 version here and download the 320 version at Florrie’s homepage!

Meet the new Duck Sauce toy

Duck Sauce, in other words A-Trak and Armand Van Helden, took the world by storm last year when they released some tracks so funky you couldn’t possibly stand still. Yesterday A-Trak gave us some very good news on his blog. The first one is that they’ve made their own Duck Sauce toy. From the Duck Sauce logo by Dust La Rock the rubber duck company Celebriducks has created a unique Duck Sauce toy. It doesn’t squeak and there’s only 1000 of them.

The second news item is this statement from A-Trak ”yes we have new Duck Sauce songs, a bunch of them, and they are fonky.”. So all you Duck Sauce fans out there who’ve been listening to aNYway and Grandsteppin’ until your ears and feet bleed, your wait is soon over!

This one isn’t new but we just couldn’t leave this post without a song in it.

Deadmau5 & Eric Prydz at Cream Ibiza

Last week Cream Ibiza announed their line up for the summer of 2010 at award winning Amnesia. The summer will be hotter than hot with a seven week recidency by none other than Deadmau5 and six parties with Sweden’s number one house guru Eric Prydz. August 12th and September 2nd is the dates to keep in mind if you want them both at the same night. What track could be better on this occasion than the tribute cover on Eric Prydz Pjanoo by Deadmau5?

Bangduck

We recently featured his huge track Pacha on Acid. Now Afrojack is back with another bangin’ track. This one is called Bangduck a was released today, March 16th, on Wall Recordings. Bangduck is a electro influenced house track which without doubt will be played at a lot of big rooms this summer. Great build up, a more electro-like mid-part and then back to a more housey feeling the third part. We like it.

Get Funky

Let’s get funky this sunday with up-coming italian techno/house producer Pirupa. His most recent track, released on german lable Cécile Records on March 10th, is called a Get Funky. The track nicely blends togheter the techhouse with some more funkier tunes and makes it perfect to that sunday chill out. The track has gained a lot of appreciation and is right now at number 3 on the overall Beatport chart. Pirupa has also been released on Steve Angello‘s lable Size Records and gained support from people like Pete Tong and Paul Woolford. Get Funky is featured on Cécile Record’s Italy album which you can buy of Beatport.
