Depeche Mode remixed

All time greatest synth band, Depeche Mode, are out on their Tour of the Universe and will be hitting Malmö, Gothenburg and Stockholm on the 25th, 26th and 31st of this month. We like Depeche Mode but they wouldn’t be likely to be featured on this blog if it hadn’t been for these two remixes by Laidback Luke and Popof.

On the 30 December Mute Records realeased an EP containing Depeche Mode tracks Hole To Feed and Fragile Tension remixed by four great producers. Laidback Luke and Stephan Bodzin took on Fragile Tension and Popof and Paul Woolford took on Hole To Feed. The result is just great. Laidback Luke turns Fragile Tension into a electroish house track and Popof makes a brilliant techno track out of Hole To Feed.
