Robyn’s Body Talk Pt 1

So, earlier this year Robyn anounced she’s releasing three mini-albums in 2010. A press release today revealed the track list and promo video for the first one, Body Talk Pt 1.

Robyn explains: ”I got all these great songs so why not? It’s been 5 years since ”Robyn” and I didn’t want to wait with a release until they are all recorded, so I decided to start putting them out right away. I also can’t wait to play live again and this enables me to tour and record at the same time. I just want to keep making music.”

Robyn – Fembot

Among the tracks there’s the robo-rap track Fembot, her collab with Diplo – Dance Hall Queen, and the Swedish folk song Jag vet en dejlig rosa that Robyn performed at a tsunami memorial in 2007. Body Talk Pt 1 is supposed to land on June 7th together with the single Dancing On My Own.  We’re really looking forward to see what this is evolving into. It can’t be anything less than great!
